I have over 20 years' experience working in the mental health field with people of all ages. My work emphasizes healing trauma, intersection of identities, and working with military veterans.  I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist.

I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers, member of the CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) International Board of Directors, and I also volunteer for several community initiatives.

In addition to my clinical work, I have trained over 200 people in Otero County on Mental Health First Aid and CIT Training. I have facilitated workshops throughout New Mexico and Washington on topics including race, class, gender, LGBTQIA*, and microagressions. I have presented workshops for Gender Odyssey International, the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Association of New Mexico, and the Washington Play Therapy Association.
